This is probably a stupid idea, but I like the idea of my own electricity. I think solar and wind energy, but not really work for me. My wife and I are building a new house in 9-10 years and I have a new idea .... We have an outdoor wood stove to your home heat. Is there such a thing as a small steam generator? If so, I might generate some of the heat in the oven to heat water, generate steam and turn a small turbine to generate electricity. Could in this way, my house warm in winter and my own electricity throughout the year only with wood. Just an idea (perhaps stupid). If someone share information about this please contact me. Thanx.
